| Abstract: | The development of West China is an important strategic decision of the Central Committee of the Party. Colleges and universities in western areas should grasp the opportunity and meet the challenge. The paper tries to put forward some suggestions on how colleges and universities in this area can adapt themselves initiatively to the development, in terms of expanding their scales, improving their education quality, establishing first-class disciplines, building up scientific and technological gardens, and developing long-distance higher education. |
