| Abstract: | The Outlying City is a beautiful and sad dream.In this novel,Shen Congwen constructs the poetic "XiangXi world".The author relies on traditional Taoism,through the "water" interpretation of the natural scene attention,admiration of the natural personality and multiple narrative of the vernacular,homes watch,reflecting profound connotation of Taoist culture implied in the novel. |
