唐鉴真大和尚东渡和日本律宗

唐代有很多高僧东渡日本传法,在弘传佛法的同时也将中国的先进文化向日本人介绍,为促进日本文化进步和社会体制的革新作出了重要贡献.在这当中,鉴真大和尚是卓越的代表.他怀着到异域传法的炽热感情,不畏艰险曲折,前后经历六次东渡,遭遇五次失败,期间不幸双目失明,最后终于到达日本,向僧众授戒传律,创立日本律宗,为日本佛教的传播发展,为推进中日两国文化交流做出了光昭日月、流芳千古的贡献.

The Voyages of Chinese Monk Jianzhen to Japan and Japanese Ritsu Sect

In Tang Dynasty,many Chinese Buddhist masters voyaged to Japan to introduce Buddhism there among whom Jianzhen was an excellent representative.Jianzhen attempted to voyage to Japan for six times successively,five of which failed.And in this process,he lost his eyesight unfortunately.Finally,he reached Japan and introduced vinaya to Japanese monks,initiating the Japanese Ritsu sect.Jianzhen contributed a lot to the spreading of Buddhism in Japan and to Sino-Japan cultural exchange.
