路径演化:超越路径依赖与路径创造

路径依赖理论消极理解经济主体在路径生成和发展中的作用,而路径创造理论则强调经济主体有意识行动的创造性。二者不仅存在逻辑关联,而且都有"演化"的特征。因此,应将路径依赖和路径创造视为两种既有区别又有联系的"路径演化"形式。路径演化过程包括路径生成、路径发展与稳定和路径分化三个阶段。

Path Evolution: Seeking Path Creation by Going beyond Path Dependence

The concept of path dependence takes little account of the role that human agency plays in the generation and development of economic systems,whereas the analysis of path creation places entrepreneurs’ deliberate action on the highest list of resources for creativity.There is,however,inherent connection between these two seemingly contradictory theories characterized by "evolution".In this article,an integrative analytical framework is developed to bridge the gap between path dependence and path creation,and between the emergence of path dependence and the constructive role of mindful action.Also,the three consecutive phases of path evolution process including path generation,stabilization and diversification are distinguished in this paper.
