鳌峰书院与近代前夜的闽省学风--嘉道间福建鳌峰书院学风转变及其影响初探

嘉道之际,兴盛一时的乾嘉汉学在总体上开始走下坡路,但在原有汉学不发达的地区却呈现局部上升的趋势。嘉道间福建鳌峰书院学风转变就反映了这点。当时福建境内社会危机加剧,促使福建学者关注现实,思想逐步由虚空转入务实。在传统士人眼里,社会风俗的变化与学术人心的改变紧密相关。于是反思学术人心成为扭转危机的重要途径。陈寿祺等人通过改革作为福建书院教育中心的鳌峰书院,促使福建的学风发生了变化,在福建兴起崇经致用的新学风。同时,陈寿祺所倡导的学风也体现了注重经世致用、汉宋学并重等嘉道以后的汉学新风气。

Aofeng College and Fujian' Academic Atmosphere--The Transformation and Influence of the Aofeng College's Academic Atmosphere during the Period of Jiaqing and Daoguang

During the transition of Jiaqing and Daoguang Emperor in Qing dynasty, the academic atmosphere had suffered a transformation in Fujian province, which could attribute to the scholars' reflection on the crisis of society in those days. As Fujian's center of culture and education in Qing dynasty, Aofeng College's transformation of study was the most representative and boosted further transformation in Fujian. It was mostly led by Chen Shouqi and Zheng Guangce. By their effort, the new vogues including co-existence of Han and Song, the study of statecraft, the writing classical prose, the composing poem and the style of Fu rose in Aofeng College. As a result, this college had brought up a lot of people with excellent accomplishment.
