顺应论对翻译研究的启示

从顺应论的角度出发旨在探讨顺应性对翻译研究的启示。顺应论认为语言使用的过程就是语言使用者按照交际环境和交际对象不断进行语言选择的过程。在顺应论框架内,翻译是一个对原语语境和语言结构客体之间作出动态的顺应过程,只有从语境关系、结构客体等诸方面对原语和目的语作出动态顺应,才能达到语用等值翻译目标。因此,顺应理论对翻译研究具有重要理论意义和实践价值。

The implications of the theory of Adaptability in Translation

On the basis of the theory of adaptability,this paper tried to probe into its possible implications in translation.The theory holds that the process of language use is the process of continual choice by language users in light of communicative contexts.Translation,as a special means of language use,is also a dynamic process of adaptation.Only by making dynamic adaptations to the original and the target languages from the aspects of the contextual correlates and structural objects can we achieve a pragmatic equivalence in translation.As the core of pragmatic perspective,the theory of adaptability will be of great significance to the theory and practice of translation.
