Poetical Nature of the Chinese Language: Its Facts, Concept and Problems

The poetical nature of the Chinese language is a fact as well as a concept to be interpreted. In the framework of the present system of disciplines, the study of the poetical nature of the Chinese is a marginalized field. However, its study will exert influence upon the literary studies as well as upon the Chinese documents-based humanities. The study of the poetical nature of Chinese requires the clarification of a series of relevant concepts, on the one hand, and the systematic and in-depth survey of texts, on the other.
