儒学之水与文学之水的二元对质

摘    要:"混沌之初"和"太一生水"之说可证明水存在于阴阳分割之前,是世界构成的原初要素。中国儒家把阴阳和五行确立为哲学的核心范畴,并以"易"的方式推演万物,水被列在八卦之内、五行中,以致被确立为万物之宗的本原地位,又进而把水的特质比附到人的品德上。这样,在儒家的观念中,水就具有了世界本原的哲学意义和比附道德的伦理学意义。作为世界本原,水是生命的母体和构成要素,并内化为中华民族的心理文化基因;作为比附道德的喻体,它对应着人性善恶的两极,并对后代文学创作尤其是作品的主题走向具有潜移默化的分流作用。水之清浊的特征构成了诗歌中德之善恶的反向主题。

Abstract:"The beginning of chaos" and "the water produced in Taiyi" can prove that water exists before the separation of "yin" and "yang",and the water is the original element of the world.Chinese Confucianism considers "yinyang" and the "Five Elements" as the core category and uses the method of inference to explain everything.Water is listed into the "Eight Trigrams" and the "Five Elements",and is regarded as the origin of everything.Moreover,people often liken the features of water to the morality of human beings,thus leading to the profound influence on the water-image of Chinese literature.The clearness and turbidness of water is used as the opposite themes of the kindness and evil of morality in poems.
