Studies on beauty culture for ancient Chinese women

Strting from the esthetic activities in facial features of ancient Chinese women recorded in materials for cultural relics and literature,this paper gives a brief account of the formative course of cosmetological practices among ancient Chinese women,with an analysis of the esthetic features implied therein and also with an explanation of the viesw on esthetic standards for facial beautification among ancient Chinese woemen.There in the paper demonstrates the extensiveness and profundity of ancient Chinese esthetic culture.
