风格翻译论述评

在译作应该反映原作的风格,还是反映译者的风格这个问题上,学界主要存有三种倾向性意见:一种意见认为风格是可译的,译作应尽量反映原作风格;一种意见则坚持风格是不可译的,译作只会带有译者风格;还有一种意见却认为风格是复杂的,翻译时应顺其自然.文章认为,一方面,原作风格是可译的,另一方面,译作会在所难免地烙上译者一定的艺术特色和创作个性的印记,体现了风格的独异性和一贯性.译者应善于淡化自己的风格,将自己的个性与原作的个性有机地融合在一起,努力使译文最后统一到作者风格上来.
