The Study of the New Industrial Revolution and the Structural Transformation of Economy in the Yangtze River Delta Region

The new round of industrial revolution featuring the deep application of modem information technology has been brewed and formed, predictably causing a significant impact on the global industrial structure. The Yangtze River Delta Region is in a critical period of innovation＇driven transformation and upgrading the shocks and opportunities with the arrival of the new industrial revolution. Under this background and facing , the Yan- gtze River Delta Region with the strongest comprehensive economic power in China, is supposed to seize the his- toric chances of the new industrial revolution, which involves innovating the governmental system and mecha- nism, promoting the adjustment of enterprise production pattern, strengthening the independent research and de- velopment capability, and accelerating the industrial transformation and development according to the regional characteristics.
