冷战后的韩美关系变化特点及未来展望

冷战结束后 ,韩美关系在军事、外交和经济等领域出现了一些新的变化。在军事安全领域 ,韩国自卫力进一步提高 ;在外交领域 ,韩国由“唯美国是从”转向“重美”、“多元” ;在经济领域 ,韩国对美竞争力增强。今后 ,由于韩美在东北亚和平、安全及反大规模杀伤性武器扩散等战略问题上仍需要合作 ,将使韩美同盟关系在较长时间里呈现相对稳定的特征。

The Changing Characters and Future Prospect of South Korean-American Relations after the Cold War

New changes in South Korean-American relations occurred in the military, diplomatic and economic fields after the end of the Cold War. In the field of military security,South Korea has further improved self-defense; in the diplomatic field, South Korea has shifted from “toeing America” to “attaching great importance to America” while, “pursuing multi-dimensional approach”; and in economy, South Korea has become more competitive to America. In the future,due to the need for cooperation on many strategic questions such as Northeastern Asian peace and security and anti-proliferation of WMDs, South Korean-American relations will continue to be comparatively stable.
