| Abstract: | Rites system is a component part of Chinese traditional culture,and a sacrificial rite is the most important part.This article investigated the country rites,which is one of the four Chinese rites compounded with sacrificial sky,earth and ancestral temple and discusses the meaning of the country and the outcome of sacrificial rites,especially examines the concrete ceremony and formula of sacrificial rites of the country,as well as their evolution process.In addition,the article also points out that the essence of the rites system is the refraction of the aspiration of ancient agricultural nationality,and is the embody of the ceremony about the idea which the ruler strengthens territory and attach importance to agriculture. |
