| 摘 要： | 劳伦斯在其作品中表现出了对人类生活的深刻洞悉,揭示了生活中存在的各种不同的关系。他认为平衡是保持两个相互矛盾的事物和谐相处的最理想的手段。本文探讨了其短篇小说《菊馨》中的各种不同的矛盾,并揭示出其恢复事物间和谐平衡的愿望。
