后殖民翻译中的异质他者

“他者”作为后殖民理论的一个关键术语，在翻译中扮演着极其重要的角色。就传统翻译而言，翻译中的他者能够成为目的语文化的催生剂，通过输入新鲜血液而促进其发展与进步；而在后殖民视角中，他者则是西方殖民主义者为了实现其文化帝国和霸权主义而炮制的一个虚假的东方文化形象，任由其篡改与操纵。在经济全球化的带动下，文化面临着趋于同质的危机，如何合理地面对翻译中的异质他者，从而抵制文化霸权和帝国主义侵蚀，重塑本土文化身份，进而促进多元共存、平等对话的和谐文化生态环境，就成为后殖民翻译所要研究的一个重大问题。

Otherness in Postcolonial Translation

As a key term in posteolonial theory, Othemess, in traditional translation theory, offers an opportunity for the target language and culture to gain improvement and perfection,while,from the postcolonial perspective,it is a forged image of the oriental culture depicted and violently manipulated by the occidental colonists, aiming at the enforcement of its cultural he- gemonism. However, in the process of globalization, culture is faced with the crisis of homogeneity. Against this background, there are some major questions how to deal properly with the otherness in translation, how to resist the aggression of hegemonism,and how to reshape the cultural image and create an ecological environment in which all cultures develop equally and harmoniously.
