演绎归纳的二分与结合--略论西方逻辑与印度因明之差异

逻辑与因明有着诸多差异.在逻辑中演绎与归纳是二分的,而演绎体系所要求的普遍必然性的第一原理,归纳并不能提供,这终令西学走入穷途.因明中演绎与归纳完美地于每一论式之中,而佛教认为并不存在普遍必然的因果规律,故因明并不存在西学的尴尬局面.此外逻辑与因明在各自认识方法中的地位及为自为他上亦不同.

Deduction and Induction's Parting and Combining--A Simple Discussion about the Difference between Western Logic and India Yinming

In logic, deduction and induction are parted each other .The universal inexorable principle which deductive system needs can't be given by induction.This makes western school go into a difficult position .But in Yinming, deduction and induction are combined in every syllogism .According to Buddhism's veiwpoint,the universal inexorable law of cause and effect doesn't exist at all.So the difficult position doesn't exist in Yinming as it exists in western school .Besides this ,their status in its own epistemology is different,and Yinming is for others , logic is for oneself.
