| 摘 要： | 霍桑的《红字》是一部脍炙人口的艺术佳作,多少年来深受人们的喜爱。在作品的创作中作者运用了诗歌的意象创作手法来体现主题思想,同时也运用了诗化意象张力使作品叙述层次丰富。对小说中的诗美的具体体现进行了较为详细的分析,也对小说中意象、隐喻、象征手法进行了探究。

| Abstract: | Nathaniel Hawthorne's masterpiece, The Scarlet Letter, has been appreciated by numerous readers all over the world since its publication. In writing the novel, the author applied the poetic imagery writing strategy to embody the theme as well as the poetic imagery tension to enrich the arrangement of the narration. This paper offers a comparatively detailed analysis of the specific embodiment of poetic beauty presented in the novel and a probe into the unique techniques of imagery, metaphor and symbolization so as to motivate the others come up with valuable opinions. |
