| 摘 要： | 近代镇江教育与近代镇江经济既相互促进又相互制约。镇江经济的近代化推动了镇江教育的近 代化,而近代镇江经济发展的不充分又严重地制约了教育的发展,经济的衰落、资金的短缺等因素使得近 代镇江的新式教育表现为规模小、数量少,教育结构不合理。经济的发展离不开教育的发展,由于近代镇 江教育发展不充分,极大程度上又影响了经济的发展,近代镇江教育的落后是经济衰落的原因之一。

| Abstract: | Modern Zhenjiang education and modern Zhenjiang economy promoted and restrained each other. Economic modernization in Zhenjiang gave an impetus to the educational modernization in Zhenjiang, but inadequate economic development in modern Zhenjiang crippled educational development. Economic recession and shortage of funds made new education in Zheniang small in scale, limited in number and unreasonable in structure. Since educational development is indispensable to economic development, inadequate educational development in modern Zhenjiang affected, to the utmost extent, the economic development. Modern Zhenjiang educational backwardness was one of the causes for modern Zhenjiang economic recession. |
