近年来,一些学者针对世纪之交中国社会转型的历史现实,以及与此潮流相呼应而出现的新的文化与文艺现象,提出"日常生活审美化"论题。有人称,进入20世纪,审美由于社会的发展开始降低姿态,所谓"旧时王谢堂前燕,飞入寻常百姓家",这寻常百姓家到底是何种类型的百姓家?对于日常生活审美化论题在中国特定语境中的有效性需要双面分析,既要明确其存在的依据及合理性,也要考虑其解释当下中国审美现实问题所遭遇的尴尬,同时也要看到,审美的全面泛化存在着忽略生活本真和一定程度上造成价值真空的弊端。
