从“终古”论及《天问》的写作背景

王汝弼尝论屈原所任左徒是左史。今考《哀郢》所言“去终古之所居”的语法结构与“从 彭咸之所居”等句全同,“终古”当为人名,即夏代史官,屈原借以自指。“去终古之所居”是指屈原被 贬离左徒的史官职位。古代史官所掌图册中有丰富的绘画作品,终古且有泣图出亡之意。《天问》正 是屈原作为史官离职时的泣图之作。
