| 摘 要： | 现行的大学英语教学存在许多不足之处。本文主要从教材、师资、教学模式、四、六级考试方面分析了存在的问题。同时指出 ,只有转变教学思想 ,更新教学观念 ,提高师资水平 ,改革四、六级考试制度 ,改革现有教学模式 ,采用多媒体教学才能从根本上改变学生只学不会用的现状。

| Abstract: | Many problems exist in current English teaching in colleges and universities. This paper discusses such problems in in the respects of textbooks, teachers, teaching models and CET band 4 and band 6 and argues that only when we succeed in changing our out-of-date teaching ideology, improving the competence of the teachers, reforming the current English test system and English teaching approaches and adopting multi-media in language teaching, can we overcome the short-coming in current English teaching expressed in that students cannot use English in their real life even though they have studied the language for many years. |
