The Style and Inspiration of Ancient Houses at Luotian Village --Research of the Architectural Characteristic of Ancient Villages in Jiangxi Province

The ancient houses at Luotian Village,Anyi County,Nanchang City have been there for 1200 years.Why can they last so long?The author's opinion is:because of the proper choice of site and correct arrangement of the unique water draining and water supply system and their distinction.The direction of the traditional houses at the ancient village is:the water was properly introduced into the village and connected with the water supply and water draining ditch,as well as the allay;the foundation of the house was tightened with green stone and so was the allay of the village;the location of the house is flexible,as they were all built around the centre,which consisted of the lobby and the small yard,all of which benefit the lasting of the traditional houses.
