At present,the relation between Mainland China and Taiwan is in a critical period of peaceful development.With enhanced comprehensive strength and international influence of Mainland China,its leading power over the basic pattern and future development of cross-straits relations has notably increased.As is well known,strength plays an important role in solving Taiwan issue,and at the same time,it will cause problems and arouse anxiety among Taiwanese.Therefore,how to make the best use of strength rationally are a question as well as an art.The smart power strategy can provide enlightenment for the peaceful development of cross-straits relations.
