| 摘 要： | "数"是语言中普遍存在的语法范畴,与语言使用者的认知和经验密切相关.物体和物质两类事体范畴的区别,即界限性,内部构造特征和可数性等方面的差异是英语可数名词和不可数名词语法行为表现差异的概念认知基础.但是物体与物质的区分不是一分为二的,而是一个渐进的连续体,物质和物体范畴间的模糊交融是支配许多名词,尤其是混合型名词的复杂数量表现形式的认知机制.
