| Abstract: | According to the phonological theory of modern linguistics, this paper exposes the aesthetical structure lying in phonology. It points out that onomatopoeia, secondary onomatopoeia, rhythm and sound patterns all play an important role in the aesthetical value of the literary language. Also, the study of these markers will help English learners to improve their appreciative ability. |
