铁路与太原城市近代化进程：1907-1937

近代以来，随着铁路网络的形成与铁路运输业的发展，山西开始逐渐摆脱腹地交通对区域城市近代化的桎梏，1907年正太铁路的通车以及1933年同蒲铁路的分段运营便充分展现了铁路与太原这一内陆省会城市工商业以及城市结构变动等方面的关联作用。山西城市格局也呈现出沿铁路线分布的特点，城镇等级体系更趋完善。从更宽阔的视野来看，以太原为集中地，以正太铁路、同蒲铁路为运输路径，以沿海商埠为指向的晋中区域近代化进程明显加快。

The Railways and the Modernization Process of Taiyuan City:1907-1937

With the railways net coming into being and the development of the railway transportation,Shanxi Province had gradually broken the shackle of hinterland traffic in the process of urban modernization.In 1907,Zhengtai railway was put into operation and Tongpu railway was open to traffic in 1933,which exhibited the relationship between the railways transportation and industry and commerce change in Taiyuan City.And at the same time,the cities of Shanxi Province were setup along the railways,and the towns grading was more perfect.In addition,Zhengtai and Tongpu railways speeded up the modernization process of Jinzhong District.
