真實經濟週期理論和凯恩斯主義波動理論的比較研究

當代宏觀經濟學中研究經濟波動的經濟週期理論派別林立,觀點各異。真實經濟週期理論和凱恩斯主義波動理論是當中兩種較為重要的理論,尤其是前者,更被視為20世紀80年代以來宏觀經濟學最引人注目的發展之一。本文將從研究方法、假設前提、經濟週期的原因和傳導機制,以及應對經濟週期的政府政策等多方面對兩種理論進行比較分析。通過有關的比較,筆者發現,兩種理論各有其優缺點,兩者如能相結合,將會深化經濟週期理論的研究。

A Theoretical Comparison between Real Business Cyclical Theory and the Keynesian Theory of Fluctuations

There are many schools of modem business cycle theory. Both the Real Business Cycle Theory and the Keynesian Theory of Fluctuations are comparatively important theories that study economic fluctuations in contemporary macroeconomics. The Real Business Cycle Theory especially has been considered one of the most noticeable development in macroeconomics since the 1980s. This paper compares the different viewpoints of these research approaches, as well as the assumptive preconditions, reason for a business cycle, conduction mechanisms, and government policy between these two theories. By doing that, we find these two theories have both advantages and disadvantages. Nevertheless, our theoretical understanding would deepen if these two theories can be combined.
