| Institution: | Thomas D. Hall of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, DePauw University, holds the Lester M. Jones Chair in Sociology. He is the author of Social Change in the Southwest, 1350–1880 (University Press of Kansas), and coauthor with Christopher Chase-Dunn of Rise and Demise: Comparing World-Systems (Westview). He continues to study, teach, and write about Native Americans, frontiers, nomad societies, ethnicity, and precapitalist world-systems. He is currently working on Social Change: The Long-Term View from Sociology and Anthropology (Westview) with Stephen K. Sanderson and Darrell La Lone. |
