Zhuxian Town is located in southwest Kaifeng, an an-cient city in Henan Province. As a key town, and one of the important trade and business centers during the Song (960-1279) and Ming (1368-1644) dy-nasties, it is listed among "The Four Famous Towns of China," with Hankou, Hubei Province; Foshan, Guangdong Province, and Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province. At the end of the Song Dynasty, Yue Fei, a famous general, won a battle at Zhuxian, adding to its mystique and lore.
