Dozens of people from around the world converged on a small,beautiful island in Zhoushan,Zhejiang Province to recreatethe wodd’S eight wonders-in sand. The island,Zhujiajian,is world-renowned for its southeastern beach with“10 miles of golden sand.”On October 2,2002the beach was the site of the fourth China Zhoushan International Sand Sculpture Festival.The festival’S theme was“World’sEight Biggest Wondere from Ancient Times.”
