| 摘 要： | 《赫索格》是美国著名的犹太学者型作家索尔·贝娄知识分子题材小说的开端之作,这部作品以富于张力的文字引领读者走进叙述的迷宫,去探测当代知识分子的生存困境和心灵状态。本篇文章旨在通过对赫索格的解读,从知识分子的无根基的生存困境中的迷惘和困惑、知识分子的边缘性地位、知识分子作为社会的批判性良知以及知识分子作为理想主义的化身等方面来凸显当代知识分子的社会特征。

| Abstract: | Herzog is the initial work of intellectual themes by Saul Bellow, a famous American Jewish writer. The novel, with its forceful language, leads readers to discover the survival dilemma and the mental state of the intellectuals. The paper aims to reveal the social features of the contemporary intellectuals from the perspectives of the bewilderment and confusion of the rootless intellectuals, the marginality of the intellectuals, intellectuals as the social critical conscience and the embodiment of the idealism. |
