摘    要:课堂交际是外语课堂教学的中心环节,课堂交际的成功与否直接影响教学目标的完成及学生语言学习和习得。从交际环境、交际情景、交际任务、交际结构、交际模式及交际对象等六个方面探讨了外语课堂交际的实质及特征,以及它们对外语教学,尤其是对外语课堂教学的启示。

Features of Communication in Foreign Language Classrooms and Their Implications for FLT
Abstract:Classroom communication,as the central feature in teaching and learning in foreign language classrooms, greatly influences the ultimate instructional goal and language learning and acquisition. This paper first probes from six aspects the nature and features of communication in foreign language classrooms. The six aspects being discussed are as follows:1)the communication context;2)the communication situations;3)the communicative tasks; 4)the structure of communication;5)the patterns of communication;6) the participants of communication. Then it discusses their implications for FLT, especially for classroom-based language teaching and learning.
