| 摘 要： | 隐喻是最富有诗意的语言形式之一,是语言的信息功能和美学功能的有机结合.隐喻在英语文学作品和新闻写作中的使用频率甚高.由于隐喻是一种思维方式,而翻译是一种人的思维活动,隐喻和翻译的基本原则就有许多共同点.因此,从语言角度、文化角度就英语隐喻的可译性进行翻译,对译好隐喻是十分重要的.

| Abstract: | Metaphor is one of the most poetic language forms, it is the combination of linguistic information function and aesthetic function. Metaphor is frequently used in English literature and news writing. Since metaphor is a mode of thought and translation is a human thinking activity, the basic principles of metaphor and translation may share many common features. Therefore,as to the possibility of translation in English metaphor through the anglesof linguistics and social litevacy,to translate English metaphor well is quite important. |
