| Abstract: | This year, two election results have changed the governing structure of Taiwan. Ma Yingjiu＇s coming into power and Guomindang＇s complete ruling in Taiwan provide a turning point for the development of relationship of both sides. Although there is still a long way for China＇s final peaceful unification, the meeting between Hu Jintao and Xiao Wanchang promises the coming spring of the relationship of China＇s mainland and Taiwan. |
