地方名人资源的发掘与地方史研究的拓展--从湘西凤凰籍民族英雄郑国鸿说起

近现代以来，湖南西部地区曾经出现过一批在全国颇具影响力的各类人物，他们的活动曾经与近现代许多重大历史事件息息相关。近代第一批民族英雄、湘西凤凰籍抗英名将郑国鸿及其桑梓地、美丽小城凤凰就曾与鸦片战争这一改变中国命运的大事件相关联。开展对包括郑国鸿在内的近现代大湘西系列名人的研究，对于拓宽近现代史研究的视野，充实湘西地方史志研究的内涵，加强对少数民族历史与文化的研究，进一步挖掘地方历史名人资源，并为当地旅游开发和经济社会发展提供服务，具有十分重要的意义。

On the Excavation of Local Celebrity Resources and the Development of Local History--Taking Zheng Guohong from Fenghuang County for Example

Since modern times,there have been considerable influential celebrities in the west of Hunan Province,whose activities have a close relationship with many important events in modern times.Zheng Guohong,who is among the first group of national heroes in modern times,is from the beautiful small town of Fenghuang.It is significant to research those influential celebrities of modern times in the Xiangxi area,for it can broaden the view in researching modern history,reinforce the research of local historical documents,and serve local tourist industry and social development.
