女性主义形象的颠覆——从“纯女性”到“新女性”——解读《黄色墙壁纸》中角色女性

20世纪之前,女人所扮演的角色是由男人分配和限定的,所有的女性行为都被局限在既定的、由男性确定的参数上。《黄色墙壁纸》是美国作家夏洛特.波金斯.吉尔曼最著名的短篇小说。小说大胆地挑战了“崇尚纯女性”的理论,有力地尝试了寻回失去的女性话语权。本文旨在就小说中的文本创新和表现手法的分析,对作品进行女性主义解读。女性的不安定是对男性施加的巨大压力的反抗。她们或者选择死亡,或者选择疯狂来解构男权社会对女性的压迫。她们要颠覆强加在她们身上的思想,正确确定自己的角色和定位,从而以“新女性”的身份建构与男性平等的智性的对话。

The Subversion of the Traditional Women Images--From the "True Womanhood" to the "New Womanhood"
