| Abstract: | The Nanyang Culture & Education Department of Jinan Univ.(1927-1949), well known for its achievements in studying and serving the overseas Chinese, was the only academic department of researching the overseas Chinese at that time. This article analyses the background of its foundation, and reviews its historical achievements and contributions to the study of and service of the overseas Chinese. |
