| Abstract: | Jiang Zemin's "July 1st Speech" profoundly analyzes the international situation and the theme of the times. It expounds our diplomatic strategy's tenet and the concrete policy in the new century: Peace and development is still the theme of the times; The trend towards the globlization of the world economy and the multipole of the world situation are developing flexuously; We should insist on pursuing the diplomatic policy of peace, independence and initiative in one's own hands to promote the establishment of the new, fair and reasonable order of the international politics and economy. |
