有关名称涵义几个问题的思考

该对有关名称涵义本身的几个问题进行了初步探讨。名称涵义的本质在于名称呈现或刻画了其所指对象的某些属性，我们不能凭借名称的语词形式来判断某一名称有无涵义；名称涵义既有主观性又有客观性，它不同于个人的观念，具有其客观基础和主体际性，也不同于名称所指对象本身的属性，作为其产生和表达的方式的思维和语言都具有一定的主观性和随意性；名称涵义具有相对指称性，在人们对对象有所了解的情况下，主要是凭借它确定名称指称；名称涵义的层次性缘于名称所指对象性质的不同，体现在不同的语句语境中；客观实体属性的无限多样性和人们认知能力的有限性决定了名称涵义的开放集合性。

Connotation of Names

This paper gives a preliminary inquiry into several problems of a name's connotation. The essence of a name's connotation lies in a name's presenting or describling some attributes of its designation,and we cannot judge whether a name has a connotation by its word form.A name's connotation is both subjective and objective.It difters from personal ideas,which have their objective foundations and intersubjectivity.It is also different from properties of a name's designation,produced and expressed by the thought and language which are somewhat subjective and arbitrary.A name's connotation has a relative reference,which mainly helps us name an object after knowing it.A name's multiple connotations that are shown in different sentence contexts result from different natures of a name's designation.The opening assemblage of a name's connotation is decided by infinity of entity's attributes and people's limited cognitive ability.
