| Abstract: | The book Mengchuang Ci Poetry,written by Wu Wen-ying,the famous ci poet of the Metrical School in the South Song dynasty, is full of intricacies and quite difficult to understand. Over almost seven hundred years, no scholars could make notes on it and give explanations for those ci poems until the appreance of some modern researchers,such as Zhu Xiao-zang,Yu Bi-yun,Chen Xun,Xiao Cheng-tao,Yang Tiefu and Liu Yong-ji. Thanks to their hard work,the puzzling Mengchuang Ci Poetry began to reveal itself to us. Unfortunately,some problems may be seen in their works. What's more,lots of the ci poems by Wu Wen-ying haven't been correctly comprehended yet. By these reading notes the author of this paper tries to do some revision. Meanwhile, the author provides some new and more resonable paraphrasing of the ci poems. |
