| 摘 要： | 为了揭开汉学与宋学同为研经之学，却在清代出现“汉宋之争”的原因，对其进行了政治与学术2个方面的研究。分析认为：理学具有治世功能，而汉学具有守平功能，因此统治者在不同的历史时期对两者有所偏重，遂出现了“汉宋之争”；“汉宋之争”的内容虽然主要是两者不同的研究方法以及不同的研究结果，但是汉学鼎盛是其“实证”方法之有效结果，随后又从“实”至“虚”，“汉宋之争”最终以理学的复兴为表象，直至汉宋合流，体现了晚清经学致用的学术发展目的。
