阎镇珩的骈文与学术思想析论

阎镇珩的骈文数量不多但其骈文意识明确、骈文兴趣强烈。他以古文为骈文,注重语气词和虚词的使用,以散行之气运排偶之文,追求骈散交融的魏晋文风;多写所闻所见,现实性和真实性明显,即使是历史性题材,也多借古讽今或以古鉴今,情感浓郁,文气流畅。在文章和学术思想上,他师承桐城,推崇宋学,批判汉学,但又不废骈文。这说明文章崇尚与学术倾向之间没有必然的对应关系。

On Yan Zhenheng's Parallel Prose and His Academic Thoughts

Though having written limited number of parallel prose,Yan Zhenheng had clear awareness of and strong interests in the prose.His works follows classical Chinese styles,in which he pays attention to the use of exclamatory words and function words.He bases parallel beauty on unparallel eloquence,a style similar to the Wei and Jing fashions.He writes primarily what he sees or hears,with focus on reality and truth even when he writes on historical affairs,he aims to criticize or reflects on the reality through comments on old times.He puts deep emotions and fluent expression in the prose.In terms of academic thoughts and articles,he takes on the Tongcheng school.He prefers Song academics over Han learning,but he appreciates parallel works.This is a sign of the irrelevancy between his literature preference and his academic interests.
