《唐摭言》本事嬗变考

唐五代人王定保所撰科举专书《唐摭言》向以记录唐代科举资料丰富著称,史料性强,学术价值高。但作为一种文人笔记,其中也掺入了许多当代人物的奇闻轶事,部分内容是对之前作品相关内容的借鉴和改编,同时也为后代小说家改编、充实和虚构,为元杂剧、明拟话本等提供了较丰富的题材。

The Historical Changes of Some Original Stories in Tangzhiyan

Tangzhiyan is a collection of stories on Imperial Examinations’ written by Wang Dingbao who lived through late Tang Dynasty and the Five-Dynasty period.The book is characterized in rich recordings and historical facts.Nevertheless’ as a collection of essays it includes some anecdotes of that time and some rewritings and adaptations of works in earlier period.It provides abundant materials for the writing of expanded’ adapted and invented novels in later periods and the creation of Zaju drama in Yuan Dynasty and Nihuaben in Ming Dynasty.
