| Abstract: | The paper introduces the evolution of the term !imitation" as a figure of speech from the initial stage of using various forms to the current stage of accepting a single form with general consensus, discusses in datail the differentiation between imitation, quasi-figure of speech and non figure of speech in the rhetoric world, and advances basic principles for and appropriate approaches to the definition of figures of speech. |
