A New Study of the Value and Position of Twenty-four Features of Poetry

There are controversial views on the author of Twenty-four Features of Poetry and at present the dominating view is that its author is not Sima Kong. However, whether its author is Sima Kong or not, Twenty-four Features of Poetry has much value and occupies an important position in the history of Chinese poetics and aesthetics due to its excellent interpretation of the aesthetic spirit and artistic style of Chinese poetry and deserves further studies.
