论中日近代社会变革中的若干特点

近代中日两国社会在西力东渐的冲击下，改变了自身运动的发展方向，被强迫纳入世界资本主义体系。然而，两国社会变革走向的结果却大相径庭。之所以中日两国在西为东渐后形成不同的历史走向，除了两国前资本主义社会形态的差异之外，历史发展的选择性、历史主体的能动性起了主导作用，以致于在中日两国近代社会变革的进程中形成了不同的历史轨迹。

On the Differences between Modern Social Transformations of China and Japan

Facing the powerful impact of Western culture in modern times, China and Japan had to alter their respective orientation for development and they were forced to bring themselves into the system of world capitalism. However, the results of social transformation between the two countries are quite different. Such results were mainly attributed to the differences in social states of both China and Japan on one hand, and to their respective selection subject to historical development and the initiative promoted by historical conditions on the other, which resulted in different developing orbits for the two countries.
