| 摘 要： | 幽默的产生和理解离不开语境和听众，而语境和听众正是语用学的两大基本概念。从语用学视角看．合作原则与英语幽默的产生有着内在的规律与联系，为幽默话语的产生机制提供了合理的阐释。但仅从语用角度来解释幽默的特别之处是远远不够的，而将幽默理论中最富有影响力的乖讹论与语用学合作原则相结合．则不失为一种揭开幽默真面目的理想手段。

| Abstract: | Production and comprehension of humor are heavily dependent on context and hearers that are the two fundamental concepts of pragmatics.From the perspective of pragmatics,there exist inherent regularities and correlations between Cooperative Principle and the production of English humors,which provides reasonable explanation for humor production mechanism.However,explanation of humor solely from pragmatics is far from enough.The combination of the most influential incongruity theory in humor with the Cooperative Principle in pragmatics can act as an ideal means to expound the nature of humor. |
