| 摘 要： | 语气词是一个汉语特有英语没有的词类。本文首先论证了汉语语气词是主要用于表达语用功能尤其是施为性语用功能的 ,并受Sandor认为汉语是施为性小品词主导的语言的观点的启发 ,在肯定了古代汉语中语气词在语用功能表达上不可替代的重要性后 ,从语气词出发 ,对中国古代典籍英译中存在的失误举证实例作了粗浅的分析
