| 摘 要： | 民国时期福建教会学校的外语教育经历了普及、规范、发展、困顿及恢复诸阶段,最终利用对外交流方面的传统优势,以其系统的课程设置、强大的师资力量、丰富的教学用书、兼收并蓄的教学方法以及学以致用、融贯各科的教育理念,使其外语教学水平和学生外语素质十分突出。同时,教会学校外语教育所带来的新的教学内容、教学方法和教育思想,促进了福建教育的近代化发展。
