| 摘 要： | 在英中篇章及段落通常是按某种层次组织并通过关联词组有机连接起来，形成意义较为完整和语言结构连贯的章节，反映章的主题。其中衔接与连贯手段是保持篇章及其段落连贯性的两个重要特征。着重从衔接与连贯两个方面阐述了英语篇章及段落层次上的连贯性。
